I am in my fifth year at The College. My position has been as a Visiting Assistant Professor in the Mathematics and Computer Science Department. Starting this year I will be an Adjunct Professor in Mathematics and an Instructional Technology Specialist. One of my duties is to help students learn how to create e-portfolios such as this. I created this portfolio as a template for the Department of Education. The template makes use of a cascading style sheet, similar to the one used on this site, which I created and which resides in the Education Department's Web site. My intent was to allow students to focus on the content of their portfolio and not the formatting. I am also be responsible for administering our course management software packages. We are evaluating Moodle, Sakai, and CourseCompass (a BlackBoard implementation hosted by Pearson Publishing). These are possible replacements for our current limited version of BlackBoard.
